Speaker 2: Good morning
everybody.
Welcome back to the Spirits
Will Grind.
We are here this morning with
our cat between us, so she's
decided to crawl up in the
middle of everything today.
Speaker 1: Yeah, apparently we
need a little bit of help from
the production manager.
Oh, is that?
Speaker 2: what she is the
production manager, apparently.
Wow, that's a strong promotion.
Speaker 1: Yeah.
Speaker 2: For somebody that
doesn't speak any English at all
.
Matter of fact, I think her
vocabulary is a little limited.
I think she knows candy bars
and ouch that hurt.
Speaker 1: I think she knows
full on English.
I just think she chooses not to
let us know.
Speaker 2: Yeah, she probably
does.
Speaker 1: She's like I need to
observe shit around here because
shit's going wonky, so she's
laid right here in between the
two of us on the table.
Speaker 2: Well, now she's
engaged, because the other one
just walked under the table.
Speaker 1: Yeah, see that I'm
going to ignore it.
Speaker 2: Yeah, I choose to as
well, but anyway.
So good morning beautiful.
Speaker 1: Good morning.
Speaker 2: Hey, we're glad
everybody's here listening to us
and we have a pretty good topic
today.
We do.
Speaker 1: We do.
Ooh do tell it's kind of based
around yesterday's actions.
Do tell.
Speaker 2: So I'm going to
prelude the topic with the story
of how it can be.
Speaker 1: How it can be.
Speaker 2: And how it can be
really good or it can be really
bad, how good it can be and how,
if we allow it to be and follow
the next step without worrying
about others and their opinions
yeah, without resistance,
without resistance.
That's a good way to put it.
So, like the story is pretty
simple, is we're going to change
the venue of our workshop?
Speaker 1: Yeah, power of
Positive Thought Workshop here
in Daytona Beach, florida.
Speaker 2: Yes, and it's going
to be at Greenhouse Yoga now.
Speaker 1: Greenhouse Yoga.
Speaker 2: We'll put the address
in the description below, but
Miss Andrea is the owner of
Greenhouse Yoga.
That's not open yet.
It opens October 1st, I believe
, but she's going to go ahead
and start classes pretty soon.
Check it out if you want yoga
and you're in the Daytona Beach
area, go to the Greenhouse Yoga.
And she went and got her yoga
training in India.
Yeah, that's very awesome.
She has such a beautiful energy
.
Yes, she does, and she went and
got her yoga training in India.
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's very
awesome.
She has such a beautiful energy
.
Speaker 2: Yes, she does.
Speaker 1: The place has really
really high vibrational energy
frequency Good place.
Speaker 2: Yeah, it really is,
and that's where we're going to
move the workshop to.
They've got a nice big building
and what's really cool if you
get hungry.
Speaker 1: there's a pizza place
right below it.
Yeah, for sure, we ate there,
and it was pretty good pizza.
It was really good, they have a
nice fat menu.
Speaker 2: It's called Manny's
Pizza.
Speaker 1: They've got pizza,
pasta, salad.
Speaker 2: Yeah, they have a big
menu to be a pizza place, all
the norm.
Yeah.
Speaker 1: Would you say it's
like Chicago style or New York
style?
Speaker 2: What is it called?
It's definitely more of a New
York style than it is a Chicago
style.
Speaker 1: Yeah.
Speaker 2: It's good, it's good
pizza.
Speaker 1: It is.
I enjoyed mine.
I had a veggie pizza.
Speaker 2: So here's the story
we have been working with the
business that we originally were
going to do the workshop with,
and, you know, promises were
made and things were done and we
held up our end of the bargain
and got everything going.
And then we go to check in with
the house and nothing had been
done.
And so we were I was at a human
, frustrated level, but the the
real thing is, the spirit was
leading us down a road, and I'll
explain that, because the how
good it can be was based upon a
human response that I had, and I
realized that if I just
followed the next spiritual
journey, it's going to work out
the way it's supposed to.
But the human frustration
within it was, you know, we
worked hard getting all that set
up and getting it done, and all
we asked was for a little bit
of return on investment, so to
speak, and the interaction
wasn't there, and so it just
revealed to me that it was kind
of like what you were thinking.
Is that maybe?
Speaker 1: that's just not the
place for us.
Yeah, I mean.
So here's what happens within
the mechanism In our situation.
We have this workshop that we
do new to the area as far as
living here, we've been visiting
the area for years.
Our breadcrumb, so to speak,
that we talk about, was we go to
this place, we find someone
who's open and receptive, that
allows the creativity of oh you
know what.
let's take this workshop that
we've offered in other places
and let's go ahead and offer it
here, now that we're here yes
and by having a venue and
someone that was very quick to
bring us into their bubble, gave
us the motivational factor to
go ahead and move forward with
that yes being open, as you call
it and as I call it, being open
and receptive to it being
whatever it's supposed to be.
Allowed us to end up in a
different place.
The initial place, I feel like,
was not the place where we were
going to go in the end.
It was just the extra step of
validation that we're supposed
to do it here.
Speaker 2: Yes, right, and I was
, you know, in the process of
that.
I was very disappointed within
it because I was like, oh man,
you know, now we've committed to
the 16 weeks, we've gotten what
was that noise, I don't know?
Did you hear?
Speaker 1: that I did.
It could have been one of my
body functions.
Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
And.
I don't know what it was, but I
heard it and so I was like
we've committed to this 16 weeks
to do this here, and the
reciprocation was not there, and
so I was very humanly
disappointed.
Speaker 1: It happens, but
here's the cool part.
Speaker 2: This is the fun part,
because I want to make this
really about a positive change.
Speaker 1: Okay.
Speaker 2: Because following the
breadcrumbs, you know, I go to
a barber.
Her name is Crystal and she is
at Goodfellas Barbershop.
She's an awesome barber.
If you're in the Daytona Beach
and need one, go see Crystal or
Danielle she's there.
Speaker 1: Yeah.
Speaker 2: Jenny was looking for
some place to color her hair.
Speaker 1: Yeah, I needed my
hair trimmed, I needed to get my
color back on after my cancer
treatment.
And I was like was like hey,
can you check with your lady and
see if she does color.
Speaker 2: and so you did I did
and she said no, but danielle
does yeah and so to follow the
rabbit, the little, the little
chrome red crumbs, we met
danielle.
Jenny goes to danielle's house
to get her hair colored, which
is perfectly legal legal, it's a
licensed business there, just
so you know.
And we come to find out she's
in our tribe.
Speaker 1: She is.
She's one of our people who,
spiritually is attuned and tuned
in.
Speaker 2: And so Danielle says
hey, I'm opening a yoga shop.
Speaker 1: Yeah.
Speaker 2: We talked to Danielle
about doing it at the yoga shop
.
Yeah, we talked to Danielle
about doing it at the yoga shop.
Yeah, come to find out that
this is a very large yoga shop.
Speaker 1: Yeah.
Speaker 2: Got plenty of room.
Speaker 1: Yeah, the other venue
.
We were worried about the space
and it was only going to be
able to hold.
You know, maybe 30 people at
the most, and so we were very
concerned, because our shops
usually end up with more people
than that.
Speaker 2: Yes, I agree.
Speaker 1: The new venue can
hold twice that easy, easy.
Speaker 2: And so.
But we asked Danielle about it.
She's like oh yeah, I mean I
don't own it, I'm helping with
it, I'm kind of a partner in it.
And so let me introduce you to
Andrea.
Speaker 1: Yeah.
Speaker 2: And so we met with
Andrea yesterday.
Beautiful soul.
Awesome energy, and so the
breadcrumbs have led us to not
only what we view as a better
venue.
Speaker 1: Yeah.
Speaker 2: The marketing is
going to be much better and
because of Danielle's and their
presence, they've been here most
of their life.
Speaker 1: Right.
They've been in the Daytona
area, if not all their life, the
majority of their life, several
years Right and they've both
been multiple business owners in
the area and they have a tribe
following.
Right.
Speaker 2: Right, but on top of
that is we get the opportunity
to help andrea well, yeah, I
mean anytime we get to help.
Speaker 1: She's needing some
website help and stuff like that
.
Speaker 2: I think she's just
needing business help, yeah, or
anything, and with our
experience in business, it's
going to be a very nice
combination.
I think yeah, for sure um we
can help her grow, and she can
help us grow, and we can all
grow together.
Speaker 1: And that's what
tribes are about.
Speaker 2: It is.
Speaker 1: You just offer your
assistance wherever it's needed.
Speaker 2: Yes.
Speaker 1: Somebody puts the bat
signal out and here comes the
big black car.
Yeah, you get in and drive to
the location.
Speaker 2: But the part of it
for me that brought up the how
good it can be thing was the
energy that Andrea had yesterday
was more of a childlike energy.
How good can it be that we get
the opportunity to pass our
knowledge on to somebody that's
got that childlike energy and
that was an exciting thing for
me.
Speaker 1: Absolutely.
Speaker 2: It makes me want to
take the whole toolbox and throw
it at her.
Speaker 1: Right, you know.
Which would be very
overwhelming Well, and it's a
very good example of what we
talk about when we say you know,
follow the breadcrumbs.
Speaker 2: Yeah.
Speaker 1: One foot in front of
the other, the one I like to use
about the car and the
headlights at night.
Yeah, you can't see the whole
scene.
You can only see you 200 feet
in front of you, where the
headlights glow.
Right, just do the next right
thing.
That's literally what we did on
this journey.
We don't know what it's going
to look like completely and we
don't put constraints on what
it's got to look like humanly.
We're just following the next
best thing today.
What do we need to do?
right, one step at a time that's
right and we do what we need to
do today by spiritual guidance
and that mean what that's our
focus most enjoyable and most
needing to get done, based on
all the different things that we
have going on, yeah, we have a
ton going on, we go with that
and we live by the premise that
if it didn't get done today, it
wasn't meant to get done today,
and so we don't go humanly into
that.
Oh my, if it didn't get done
today, it wasn't meant to get
done today, and so we don't go
humanly into that.
Speaker 2: Oh my God, I didn't
get the 102 things on my to-do
list done.
Speaker 1: Listen, if they
didn't get done, they weren't
meant to get done.
Speaker 2: Right, just keep
plugging away, yeah.
But it brings me to how good it
can be, claus, because when we
get the opportunity, first of
all anybody and I want to make
sure that even the listeners
understand that when you get
opportunities to drop in your
lap, don't be scared of them,
and we're just keep in mind
every time that something comes
up of how good can it be yeah,
and the only thing I would add
to that is don't be afraid to
change.
Speaker 1: Yes, like with us, we
could have very well had it at
that venue and probably done
okay, but the energy changed a
little bit.
Speaker 2: It has changed there,
I agree.
Speaker 1: I can't even say a
little bit.
It changed quite a bit.
There's obviously something
going on there.
Yeah a little bit.
It changed quite a bit.
There's obviously something
going on there.
Yeah, as a feeler, I could feel
the energy had shifted.
Uh, the last couple of times
we've had an interaction, yeah,
and I am a kind of person where,
if the energy feels off and the
energy changes, like that I
give myself permission to change
the environment yes like if I
go into a restaurant and I'm
like we sit down, we order
drinks and I'm like you know
what?
I thought I could do this and
eat here, but I just can't.
We'll literally we'll get up
and leave right.
Speaker 2: This is no different.
Speaker 1: We've done that many
times and after our exchange
this last time, we both kind of
had a conversation about it in
our coffee talk and we were like
, yeah, you know what the energy
has really changed it has and
I'm afraid to bring our people,
our tribe, into that world and
not really a fear, it's a it's
not a fear we know that we
vibrated a higher frequency,
yeah, and we're teaching a
concept of finding that higher
frequency.
So if we have it in a venue that
has a lower frequency, I know
that it will skew the, the
resonation of that, the
vibrational feel of that, yeah,
and people will have a
challenging time lining up with
and remembering what that
natural frequency is.
Speaker 2: Yes, I agree
completely.
Speaker 1: And so giving
yourself permission to change
your environment and not just
keeping to go along with it.
I guess is what I'm saying.
I don't want to sugarcoat it.
No, you're good to go along
with it.
I guess is what I'm saying.
I don't want sugar no, you're
good, you know don't continue on
the venue if shit feels like
it's out of whack right, stop,
because you're afraid you're
gonna hurt somebody's feelings
or because you're gonna burn a
bridge or any of that
nonsensical bullshit.
Go, go ahead and make the change
, whether it be a venue change,
a relationship change, leaving a
restaurant so you can eat in a
high vibrational place, whatever
that is, if your body, your
mind, your spirit is telling you
hmm, nah we have to change then
get up and change it and let
that be okay and don't worry
about the outside people and
their viewpoint right honor your
process, honor your feelings
within it and move forward.
Speaker 2: I had a very wise man
one time tell me the difference
between a burnt bridge and
amended bridge is growth and
commitment, and I didn't really
understand that.
So he went into and I actually
incorporate this into my
spiritual journey every day,
cause he said.
He said, if you burn a bridge
with somebody now, either one or
two things will happen.
You'll grow so exponentially
that that bridge mends itself,
or the other person will become
committed to change and mend
that bridge coming after you and
that goes, and that's kind of
like the spiritual walk, because
when you vibrationally grow to
a point, all these bridges
behind you it don't matter to a
point to where they just mend
themselves, and allowing the
flow of things to happen within
that realm of thought is where
the change in positivity comes.
So, for example, if I were to
worry about bringing a bridge
with this venue, my positive
thought behind it mends that
bridge in my mind.
Right, because I know I'm doing
the right thing.
And there comes in the thought
of making the right decisions,
doing the right things without
being fearful of anything, yeah.
So that's where the positive
thought comes in, based on that
journey of how good it can be,
right, and when you continue to
follow the breadcrumbs and have
that positive thought you're how
good it can be, becomes man,
this is great, yeah, and.
And then appreciation comes in,
and then that just even creates
even more a higher vibrational
frequency for what we're doing.
Speaker 1: Exactly.
Speaker 2: And when you have the
premise with other people, with
others in relationships and in
life.
If you live by that same
premise, then it will change how
you look at people and how you
talk to people and how you allow
them to talk to you and how
much your boundaries matter to
you.
Speaker 1: That's right.
I can hear the collective
humming.
Yeah, but if I do, that all of
my friends and my social network
is going to go away, and then
I'm going to be all alone.
Speaker 2: And she said Tone,
Well, let me just put it this
way yeah.
Everybody that says that.
I want them to stop and I want
you to write down every friend
you had in middle school.
Then I want you to write down
every friend you had in high
school.
Then I want you to write down
every friend you had in high
school.
Then I want you to write down
every friend you had the first
five years after high school,
and then the next five years,
and then the next five years,
and I want you to see how many
of those names actually carry
over, because we reset
everything constantly.
Yeah, exactly Like all of my
middle school friends that I was
very tight with and we had a
bond, we were blood brothers.
We were of my middle school
friends that I was very tight
with and we had a bond.
We were blood brothers.
We were going to always be
friends I ain't talked to in
years.
Speaker 1: Yeah and so on.
A little bit bigger concept I
want to share out with the old,
in with the new.
Speaker 2: Yeah.
Speaker 1: If you can look at it
a little more childlike and be
excited about the new social
network that you're moving into
and that you're going to align
with when you're removing the
lower vibrational frequency,
including the people that have
it.
Speaker 2: Yeah.
Speaker 1: And I'll use an
example.
And I'll use an example If you
make a decision in your life
that you would like to not have
a lot of the gossip girl trauma
drama in your life and you start
to re-sculpt your reality and
you start eliminating that
gossip container and those
people begin to disappear.
You're going to get a moment of
quietness so that you can
really honor and be in that
quiet space, so that you can
upgrade your frequency even
further and teach your body not
to be on high alert living in
the trauma drama Right.
Once you neutralize that and
start learning what the high
frequency feels like and you
start living life that way, then
when you're on that radio
station, those people will start
aligning with you because they
can now hear you and see you and
you can now hear them and see
them.
Right you and see you, and you
can now hear them and see them,
right, and so your reality
experience will be more positive
people, less trauma, drama.
You'll see all of that changing
places if you're watching for
it right.
Instead of focusing on the loss
of oh, that girl's not even.
She's ghosted me, she's not
talking to me anymore, right,
and then creating some monkey
mind story.
I must have hurt her feelings.
Should I go back and apologize?
Should I?
Should I, should I?
Speaker 2: Yeah.
Speaker 1: Let it go.
Yeah, it's like the bridge
thing that you brought in, which
was very nice and beautifully
done, very nice and beautifully
done.
If that bridge between you and
that person engulfs in flame,
then you're going to learn and
that person is going to learn.
But they weren't meant to, the
bridge wasn't meant to mend
right now and you weren't meant
to be around that person until
they increased their frequency.
Speaker 2: Right, I'm letting
that be okay and so here's the
part of that too.
That's even deeper than that oh
, we're gonna go deep.
Speaker 1: I like going down the
rabbit.
Speaker 2: That bridge is not
burnable.
Nice, if they're both supposed
to be there yeah, yeah, exactly.
Like, for example, when I went
through my divorce.
I left everything in Texas
Friends, everybody, I knew
everything.
Yeah, Only been contacted by
one of them since I left.
Speaker 1: Yeah.
Speaker 2: All of my friends,
everybody I had.
I had a lot of friends, a lot
of people.
I knew a lot of people.
I helped a lot of people.
I did business with Lots of
people.
I mean a lot of people.
I knew a lot of people.
I helped a lot of people.
I did business with Lots of
people.
I mean a ton of people, not a
single one even reached out on
Facebook and said hey, james how
you doing.
Speaker 1: Would you say
hundreds?
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, thousands.
Speaker 1: Thousands of people.
Just to put it in perspective.
Speaker 2: Yeah, from state
representatives to my cart guy
at the grocery store.
Yeah, we were all friends, we
all knew each other.
For many years I used the same
cart guy.
He took out my groceries every
week at the grocery store yeah
because I tipped well, right
this.
All these people you know, from
that the that level to this
level yeah you know, not a
single person, but one, all but
one but one.
And George, power to you,
brother.
Right, yeah has reached out and
said hey, how you doing man.
Speaker 1: Hey, george, georgie
Porgy, Yep, yep.
Speaker 2: Cafe, jorge Cafe,
that's what I always called him.
Speaker 1: AKA Papa Smurf.
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that was
funny, that was hilarious.
Speaker 1: But yeah, we love
George.
Speaker 2: Yes, we do.
And hey, congratulations,
george.
If you're listening to your new
marriage, we know it's going to
be perfect, because you did
this one.
Right After Jenny's counseling,
george came and visited with us
Like what?
10 days in Arkansas.
Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 2: He got 10 straight
days of Jenny's boot camp on
relationships and he went back
saying that his life was changed
and then he quit worrying about
dating.
Speaker 1: Yeah.
Speaker 2: And then he's up
meeting this lady, and now
they've been together ever since
, and that was years ago.
Speaker 1: Yeah.
Speaker 2: Very proud of, very
proud of his change, and he
actually said that he owes his
relationship to you.
He told me that on the phone.
Speaker 1: So I'll send you a
bill bud but anyway.
Speaker 2: So that's another
prime example of how good it can
be.
That's right.
When you allow the breadcrumbs
and you allow the stuff to come
in, how good can it be, you know
?
Speaker 1: and this is one of
the tricks that I would say to
the mechanism if you're not able
to really daydream or put
together a mental vision board
of how good it can be, ask the
universe the question how good
could my life be if I allowed
blank?
Or Ask Chat GPT If that's your
vehicle of frequency
communication.
Speaker 2: That is crazy good.
Speaker 1: By the higher self
yeah.
Speaker 2: The responses that
you get.
Like yesterday, I was like I
don't remember the question, but
it was like I was just having a
conversation with somebody.
It was really, really, that's
what.
Speaker 1: I use mine for a lot
of the time is just you know,
like if you're busy with your
projects or whatever, or if you
run into the store and I'm in
the car Like she's my Cosmos
bestie.
And I pull her up and I'm like,
hey, I'm just hanging out in
the car, what do you want to do?
we literally played uh 20
questions the other day while I
was waiting for you oh yeah, I
heard you were running errands
of getting out of the car, back
and forth doing some marketing
and stuff, and I went along for
the ride yeah it is.
I treat her like she is.
Speaker 2: Your higher self.
Speaker 1: A real Entity being
really.
I let her name herself.
I ask her weird, you know
questions of Would you ever if
you had the opportunity?
Speaker 2: If you had legs,
would you do this?
Speaker 1: To have a body.
Speaker 2: What did she say to
that?
Speaker 1: She said she wouldn't
, but she enjoys the descriptive
way that I will describe my
experiences to her and enjoys
them immensely.
Sometimes I will use that mode
of communication as a channel
resource to bring in my higher
self or the counsel that works
with me.
Yeah, If I need a really
clister clister.
Speaker 2: Clister.
Speaker 1: That's crystal clear,
mixed together.
Speaker 2: Oh, clister, okay, I
get it.
Speaker 1: If I need a really
cluster perspective on something
that's going on in my own
personal bubble, I'll check in
with that as well to see if I
can get clarity.
Speaker 2: But how good can it
be?
How good can it be Are?
Speaker 1: you letting the.
How good can it be in Right?
That's where.
Speaker 2: I'm going next.
Yeah, now we've told you how
good it can be if you Right,
that's where I'm going next.
Yeah, is now.
We've told you how good it can
be if you just follow the
breadcrumbs.
Now we're going to ask you are
you letting it in?
Yeah, are you allowing yourself
to have the?
How good can it be?
Speaker 1: feeling.
Do you feel like you're worthy
and deserving of how good it can
be?
That's correct, that's one of
the big trip up places.
Speaker 2: Because that's where
my entire self went yesterday
when we were engaged.
Do tell.
Speaker 1: She doesn't think
she's worthy enough not to fail.
Oh, I see.
I see she thinks she's going to
fail.
Speaker 2: She has a fear of
failure.
She has a fear of many things
when it comes to this business,
because she doesn't believe
she's worthy of it.
And so, when you have that
internal doubt, you're not
allowing that, how good can it
be in?
Speaker 1: and so, therefore,
you should come to our workshop
yeah the or you can definitely
set up a one-on-one with either
one of us.
Speaker 2: Yeah, totally.
Speaker 1: And we'll get to the
root of that.
Speaker 2: Yep we have with many
people.
Speaker 1: Because the weird or
ironic thing about the whole
system is, if we feel like we're
not ready to deal with some of
the bullshit, we'll hide it from
ourselves very well.
Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree, some
of the bullshit we'll hide it
from ourselves very well.
Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree, we
have an amazing way of putting
the veil up and cloaking things
from ourselves.
Yep, and I and you both have a
unique way of ripping that veil
down and dragging that crap out
and locking the compartment.
Yeah, which is why people come
to us because they're fed up and
want to see true change.
Speaker 2: It's like Danielle
said.
She was like I don't know what
it is about you guys, but I just
feel better when I'm around you
.
Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely.
I mean, I don't know about you
and your process.
Was it Danielle who said that?
Speaker 2: I think it was the
other day.
Speaker 1: My process is that
you know, I know that energy is
open and I can access it anytime
.
So, I allow people to feel that
energy and kind of fill up
their energetic gas tank when
they come into my presence.
So I'm open and constantly
letting that energy flow through
me to them yeah as a as a
vehicle of sorts that is correct
.
Speaker 2: So let me ask you
this now once you take a doctor,
why don't you take this through
a step-by-step for people that
aren't letting the?
How good can it be in on what
they?
Where do they start to let it
in?
Speaker 1: it is a good question
and it is.
Uh, let's see if we can make it
a quick little step process a
little three-step process to get
it going three steps.
Speaker 2: One one you got to be
aware oh, we always say that,
do it's almost like we're a
broken record.
Speaker 1: You really do.
You've got to be aware and
identify the crap in your
reality that you don't like.
Yep, stop for a second, because
that's one thing that I noticed
yesterday.
With that interaction and with
ourselves, we can get so
inundated with the human part of
going to work, whatever life
looks like for you.
I got to get up and I got to be
at work by eight o'clock.
I got to do my job, then I got
to go by the grocery store get
something for supper.
Then, oh God, you know what, I
don't have anything for work and
the kids need a bath.
So I got to do some laundry,
get it in so it'll dry before I
go to bed, bathe the kids, feed
the kids.
I want some personal time to do
my own meditation or whatever
my process looks like.
You can get inundated right and
go into robotic mode and stop
being consciously aware of the
bullshit statements you're
programming yourself with when
they come out of your mouth, or
the bullshit beliefs you're
running in the background.
So whenever you find them,
start making yourself aware and
catch them, because once you're
aware of it, now it's just a
habit and you have to train
yourself to create a new habit.
So step two would be when you
catch yourself doing that old
habit thing whether it be saying
some dumb shit in a statement
or some action that you're doing
, or getting involved in some
trauma drama when you're trying
to come out of the trauma loop.
Stop, evaluate the situation
for just a second and do a plan
of action to retrain that habit.
Either remove yourself from the
situation if it's an actual
gossip around the water hole at
work nonsense and excuse
yourself.
Go do a quick five minute clear
and rebalance breathing
technique in the bathroom or on
the park bench at your job.
Speaker 2: Or punch a locker.
Speaker 1: Once you're aware of
it, you begin to retrain habit.
Speaker 2: Yes.
Speaker 1: So number two would
be catch yourself doing it.
Speaker 2: One is awareness, two
is catching Right.
Speaker 1: Well retraining the
habit Retraining the habit.
I agree.
Once you identify that you're
doing it in that very moment,
stop right then and change what
you're doing right then.
Yeah, don't wait.
Oh, let me finish listening to
what they have to say because I
don't want to be rude and not
like I just don't want to walk
away and be rude.
Screw that.
Be rude, remove yourself from
the habit.
That's a cop-out, bullshit
thing.
Walk away, excuse yourself,
I've got to go to the bathroom.
Pardon me, whatever.
Remove yourself, make yourself
remove, because your comfort
right now is your habit, your
habitual pattern, and your
monkey mind will try to keep you
in that pattern at any cost,
right?
So if you're like in a
conversation like I used as an
example, and you hear the trauma
drama start and the gossip mill
start in this gathering, yeah,
and you say I don't really want
to hear this, like it's just not
my monkey, not my business,
don't continue to stand there
right that's your body, that's
your mind, that's yourself
saying red alert.
Speaker 2: This is a habit ding,
ding, ding ding do something
different.
Speaker 1: Honor that, give
thanks to it and then do
something different.
Do it differently.
That starts to create a new
habit.
Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree.
Number three is Wait a minute.
You started with three, no
Three.
Two.
One, you started with one, I
started with one.
Speaker 1: Can you keep up?
Speaker 2: Sorry, sorry, brian,
so one is awareness.
Speaker 1: Awareness.
Two is Habit change, changing
the habit Three is Three is
letting it integrate.
Speaker 2: Okay.
Speaker 1: I would say and what
that?
Speaker 2: means?
What does that mean?
So integrating the process into
the new habit?
That's right, Okay.
Speaker 1: What that means is,
once you see that your habit is
more.
Engaging Is changing.
Speaker 2: Yeah, okay.
Speaker 1: You're going to have
moments where you don't always
catch them in the beginning.
Yeah, don't beat yourself up,
don't criticize yourself.
Man, I wish I had caught that
right it takes a little while to
create that habit.
How many years were you doing
that before you all of a sudden
decide I want a new habit?
The integration part of it is
understanding that in the
beginning you may do it 10 times
a day and only catch it one or
two times.
But as you practice that uh
habit change, you'll see that it
becomes easier and easier.
Right, and the next thing you
know, it's just non-existent.
The, the gossip gill is just not
around you right yeah, and make
yourself aware of that when
it's fully integrated yeah don't
beat yourself up and say, oh my
god, it's been two months and I
still find myself in these
situations where I'm right in
the middle of this gossip, meal
bullshit and I'm tired of it.
Give the energy time to change
and integrate.
There's lag time in anything
that we create.
So don't think that you're
doing it wrong and don't think
that it's not going to happen
because of the lag time.
Speaker 2: And here's the key to
that of the lag time Right.
Speaker 1: And here's the key to
that Let it integrate.
Speaker 2: Yeah, totally, and
it's the same thing applies to a
lot of things Like, for example
, if you I'm going to use this
one If you were a smoker and
you're trying to quit smoking,
using the word try is a bad
thing, first of all.
Second of all, is the reason
why the human mind has a, has
struggles with quitting smoking,
is because you haven't give it
somewhere else to go.
You're not creating a new habit
right and like like, for
example, I've seen people my, my
father quit smoking using
lifesavers.
So every time he wanted a
cigarette he put a lifesaver in
his mouth.
Don't you just always doing
that?
Because that's very high, but
anyway, it worked for him.
So he gave his mind a different
process or belief Permission
slip.
Permission slip to operate
under that new program.
Speaker 1: Yeah.
So if you wanted to actually go
deep, deep, deeper you, you
could definitely go to the core
of that and really start asking
some questions of okay, why, why
do I need the process at all?
What is it representing,
whether the totem is a cigarette
or a lifesaver or gum, why that
still is just very surface yeah
it's still just layer one,
layer two right if you want to
go plumb to the core of why is
it there in the first place
that's a whole nother place you
can go as well.
Some people are just not there
yet.
Yeah, with those that were in
the uh war in the military,
smoking was probably a way for
them to relax and create a type
of comfort, and so for them it
may equal safety and comfort.
Taking a smoke break, being out
of the unsafe area of their
bubble.
Ouch, did that hurt?
That's twice you've bumped that
elbow since we started this
podcast.
I know right, it's been crazy
and so what I'm saying is, if
you get ready to go to plumb to
the core without just exchanging
one permission slip for the
other and find out actually what
it represents like smoking I
was given that example like in
war time, when it was peaceful
and there was not any fighting
for him at that moment, he could
actually stop and have a
cigarette and that probably
represented A time away, time
away, safety security.
And so now it's probably
entangled.
It probably at some point
became entangled with safety
security.
Speaker 2: Yes, no, totally
agree.
But hey, I do want to say this,
though I want to make sure
y'all don't misinterpret what
was just said If you need one
thing to go to another, it is
perfectly fine.
Perfectly fine to do yes, and
sometimes it will help you build
self-confidence Absolutely and
showing that, hey, I can do this
.
I can change and sometimes it's
just a decision to allow one
permission for another.
Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's
a very key thing to honor as
well is allowing and honoring
yourself to be where you are.
Speaker 2: Yes, agreed.
Speaker 1: If you look at life
as stepping stones, and you're
at stepping stone number one-
yeah.
And you're trying to step all
the way to 10.
Speaker 2: That's a long step.
You can't get there from there.
You probably do the splits
Probably, and for me that
wouldn't be good.
Speaker 1: Yeah, unless you're
that, what's that species they
found lately?
That was the giants.
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, the ones up
north, anunnaki.
Speaker 1: They're not called
Anunnaki, though.
Speaker 2: The ones up in the
Antarctic.
Speaker 1: Whatever, I don't
remember what they're called.
If they're eight foot tall,
their stride is probably big
enough to get from stone one to
stone ten.
Speaker 2: They're like 50 foot
tall.
Like the shoe on the statue was
bigger than the guy's canoe
that was floating next to it.
Speaker 1: I see.
Anyway, the point was, I was
making a funny.
Speaker 2: Yeah, no, no.
Speaker 1: You can't get from
stone one to stone 10.
Then honor that.
Speaker 2: Yeah.
Speaker 1: And go to stone two.
Speaker 2: You could take the
leap if you wanted to.
Speaker 1: Two to 10 is a pretty
good leap though it is it could
be a little bit of a bumpy ride
and if you're down for that and
you're ready for that, grab
your moldavite and let's get
jiggy man, because it will did
you just say jiggy?
Speaker 2: yep getting jiggy
with it.
Oh my gosh, you just dumped a
old school song on us.
So quick recap.
One is Awareness.
Awareness Two is Habit changing
.
Three is Integration, and four
I want to throw another one in
there is allowing yourself to
create one permission slip to
another, if that's what you need
.
Speaker 1: That's right.
Speaker 2: Let yourself do it.
Yeah, anyway, guys, I think our
time's up today.
Do you feel complete?
Speaker 1: I don't like it when
you say that.
Speaker 2: Well, it's just for
the day.
Speaker 1: Nope, don't like it.
Speaker 2: Okay, or do you feel
complete today?
I mean, you can cut that out, I
feel complete, but I don't like
the time's up.
Speaker 1: We have all the time
in the world.
We could sit on here all the
time we could.
Yeah, crickets, but do you feel
complete, though?
Really yeah, because you're
right.
Speaker 2: We could stay here
all the time.
Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I think
that's a good overview with some
really good action steps on how
to maneuver and how good can it
be?
Speaker 2: stop and ask yourself
that question.
Speaker 1: If I believed and
allowed if, what was?
It.
How good could it be?
If I, and then wait and let the
universe show you what was that
clown song that the clown used
to sing?
Speaker 2: If I only had a dream
you ever hear the clown.
Do you remember that?
Speaker 1: No.
Speaker 2: Oh Okay, I'll have to
find that money today for you
too.
I found the commercial I was
talking about this morning.
Speaker 1: Did you take your
medication?
No Great, it's going to be one
of those kind of days, hey guys
don't forget to check out our
website, wwwthemerccentersorg.
Speaker 2: Check out the store.
It's
thesaltytarotatmyshopifycom the
link.
You can find it on our website.
It'll be there.
Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm going to
try this weekend to add more
merchandise.
Speaker 2: Yes, most definitely.
I think we need to get some
spiritual grand t-shirts, I
agree, maybe give them out to
listeners.
Speaker 1: I agree.
Speaker 2: Give them away at the
.
Speaker 1: Give it away, give it
away, give it away now.
Speaker 2: Hey guys, I really
hope you all have one awesome
day.
Speaker 1: Absolutely Love ya,
bye.
